T is nomor saught after ci book in the silver age of comics period. The overstreet listed nm price for this book went up $15,000 this past year to an all time high of $65,000 ungraded. This book like most key comics from the silver age and back never lose their value and show an increase almost every year they exist. 30% plus increase this last year alone and it is already time for the new Overstreet to come out this year and everyone expects an equally impressive value increase to be posted when it does. T is no way to get returns like this in any financial market now that Bernie Maydolf is in jail. With the new movie announcement this issue is sure to remain red hot. I have owned and operated Comic Collectables in Burton Mi. for 18 years. I have looked for a copy in this grade the whole time and only found one. I am in a situation w credit cards and home equity credit have gotten out of hand and I need to sell to keep my house and business. My intention was to entire with this book in 15 years, but I need to keep my business and have already had to temporarily suspend new issue sales until I can catch up on my book bill. I have to pay this off before I lose my customer base. If the buyer chooses to pay for grading expenses with CGC I will guarantee a grade range of 6 - 8 . If the book is returned with a lower grade then 6.0 I will allow the bidder to opt out of the purchase. If the grade is higher then a 6 and the buyer pays the full bid amount I will reinburse the cgc costs in full. I see a buy it now auction that currently is asking for $52,999.99 for a 7.5 that is graded by cgc. Compare the covers for yourself and it seems obvious to me that my copy is in much better condition. I have not been able to find a better copy anyw Look closely at the pictures I have included and I am sure you will agree that this is one of the best copies in existance. Under 1,300 copies have ever been graded and only 31 copies received a grade higher then 7.5. My copy is unrestored and has a complete interior with no rips and no missing coupons. All pages are white-off white. t is a small Marvel chip on the bottom of the back cover. That chip is the only significant damage and probably the only thing that keeps this issue from being one of the BEST 10 COPIES IN THE WORLD! I am new to Ebay but not to vintage silver/gold comics. I recently sold Journey into Mystery 83(1st thor) for 6,800 graded as a 6.0 unrestored that came from the same collection this issue of Amazing Fantasy came from.
