This auction is for the following comics - if none are listed then all numbers are listed in the title.There may be extra books listed than the ones in the pics. Apologies but that is because I have amalgamated other collections in to this one where it made sense. All books are roughly same condition, though use the pics and see for yourself.

 

I am a buyer and seller of comic books and I indicate where I can when I don’t consider the comics to be in excellent condition but I am not a professional grader and so do not want people to mistake my grading for fact as I sell these AS IS. I have provided rough grades for reference where necessary and will provide you with my estimate if you ask, but this in no way can be used to claim that I mis-sold these comics.

Basically, see the pictures and please grade them yourself. If you want pictures of any specific issues then please ask as I am more than happy to take them and pass them on to you. A star by the number indicates a POOR copy with missing or badly damaged covers.

Shipping Charges:

I charge flat rates for amounts of comics and ALWAYS combine shipping where I can:

Each additional slab is £5 – Once the value goes above £50 there is a £2 additional charge for insurance.

General Information

BIDDING: Everyone is welcome to bid but international bidders and bidders with zero feedback please contact me BEFORE bidding. If you don't I reserve the right to cancel your bids.

INVOICES: Invoices are sent out within 24 hours of the auctions end, though if you wish to combine current wins with later, potential wins I am happy to do so. Simply disregard any invoice you may receive from me by advising me you are bidding on others and then when you are done you are ready for a combined invoice.

SHIPPING TIMES: Your item(s) will be sent out to you within a day upon receipt of payment and will be packaged with the utmost care. If an item is a gift or you need it to arrive quickly for another reason, please let me know in advance – I can always send faster if you agree to pay the increased charges.

SHIPPING & HANDLING: I use Royal Mail and Collect+ for most items. If you need an item quickly please advise in advance so there will be no surprises. Also, I charge a flat rate for COMICS to all domestic customers and, for international bidders, I obtain the most accurate shipping rate I can. Some orders will have a handling charge tied to them (never more than 5% and most of the time zero), it is not my intention to gouge anyone on the shipping. If your package has a significant difference over £2 in what I charged you verses what it actually cost to ship, please feel free to let me know and I will be happy to refund the difference.

E-MAIL CONFIRMATIONS: You will receive a confirmation e-mail when your package ships. Please note that this confirmation e-mail will only be sent to the e-mail address you paid with, the one tied to your PayPal account. Many people have different e-mail addresses for their eBay and their PayPal account, so please be aware of this as their will be no other form of communication sent confirming shipment.

TRACKING NUMBERS: Tracking numbers are available for most purchases, as I ship through the Paypal shipping feature. If not I ask that you please request this information only if there is a problem such as a delayed delivery. Generally, if you have not received your package within 6 business days for domestic or 12 business days for international shipments then there could be a problem. Usually you will receive them sooner than that but I ask you allow at least this long. Ninety-nine times out of one hundred your carrier has attempted to deliver and nobody was home to receive the package. A simply phone call to them is usually the quickest way to resolve this issue though I am of course happy to help. If a tracking number is not available, all I ask is that you please be willing to contact your local carrier to attempt to obtain the package before pursuing other options.

I WILL ANSWER YOUR QUESTIONS: I always, without exception, answer all e-mails I receive and I usually do so within 12 hours. If you have e-mailed me and do not get a response in that time, please understand that your message did not reach me or my reply did not reach you. You may wish to check your spam filter and, if no reply is to be found, please try again.

INSURANCE: To protect both you and myself from the postal carriers neglect or mistreatment of a package, certain more costly items are insured automatically. If lost or damaged, please note that I can and will file a claim with the relevant postal service. If lost, I have to wait 45 days from the date posted for claims. It can then require information and confirmation from yourself before they will pay out on a claim. Please be patient I will try and get refunds as fast as I can for you and would rather settle this outside of you contacting eBay as all they do is ask me to respond and hold the money in my Paypal account, which helps neither of us. If damaged I’ll need pictures and an e-mail from you to confirm this so the carrier can process the claim.

ISSUES/CONCERNS: While I strive to offer stellar customer service there are certain situations out of my control. Further, mistakes sometimes occur. I work hard to keep them at a minimum but, after all, we are all human. So if you do have an issue or concern I ask that, before you take any other action, you please contact me. You have the option to file a claim with PayPal, report me to eBay, leave me negative feedback, or give me poor ratings via the anonymous Detailed Seller Ratings. Before pursuing those options, I would take it very kindly if you gave me the opportunity to hear your issue or complaint and allow me the chance to make it right. After all, you are my customer and, beyond my very real and sincere desire that you be happy with your purchase, I also want your repeat business. Further, with eBay's rewards for their special sellers you help me keep my costs down which helps me offer merchandise at lower prices. So everybody benefits.
