Air Pirates Funnies #1 Hell Comics 1971
This book is in very nice condition with a couple shallow creases along the upper edge as defects of note.  The book is tight, clean and supple.   See pix for sample pages, splashes, and general condition..The book features "tributes?" to the Disney empire pantheon.  The book starts with several very early Dirty Duck strips (and ends with a very early Merton of the Movement) by Bobby London..  Dan O'Neill gives us a "Silly Sympathies" Bucky Bug story.  Early Dopin' Dan by Ted Richards and a short Keyhole Komix involving an nameless duck and female mouse by Gary Hallgren inhabit the middle of the book.  Finally, Dan O'Neill contributes "The Mouse"  with Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, Peg-leg Pete and the Phantom Blot. Fans of the history of comics will recognize this as one of the issues which prompted the Disney conglom to sue these artists for big bucks.  A rare gem.
I have an extensive collection of comics coming up for auction from several genres - superhero, underground, funny animal and international comics. My underground collection extends from Gothic Blimp Works and Zap up to early Heavy Metals.  Stay tuned, if you are interested in Crumb, Bode, Moebius, Wilson, Shelton, etc.  I collected these books, as they came out, mostly for the art, from the early 1960's through the middle 1980's.  Now that I am in retirement, I am liquidating my collection, hoping other collectors will give my books an appreciative new home. I will be offering books with special artists, unusual superheroes, or other eclectic wonders. Check them out.   These books will excite the true fan and I am offering them at prices which should allow them to go to appreciative new homes.
Shipping is $3.00 in US for each multiple of four books.  I will ship comics outside the US, but it will be expensive - $9US to Canada, $15US elsewhere.
I prefer payment through paypal, ship USPS first class parcel within one business day of receipt of payment, and offer the ebay-suggested return refund of purchase, if not satisfied.  Books are double-bagged, placed between two sheets of corrugated cardboard, and enclosed in a large manila envelope with tape on all sides for full protection.  Check my feedback for satisfied collectors who have bought my stuff before.
