A 'CENTS' ISSUE AND CGC GRADED 5.0 RESTORED
THE ORIGIN OF 'THE AVENGERS' 'THOR', 'ANT MAN', 'HULK, 'IRON MAN'
The grading figure of 5.0 would appear to be slightly harsh for this particular comic. Both front and back covers are nice and flat - the front cover especially still retaining the original vibrant colours. The spine looks great and all edges are sharp and clean!!The restoration of this comic was carried out by Susan Cicconi at 'The Restoration Lab' based in Massachusetts, USA. Susan is a highly respected paper conservator/restorer. She restored 36 original drawings by Picasso which were on view at his centennial retrospective in Munich, 1981. She was also Sotheby's chief restoration consultant for their historic collectible auctions from 1991 to 1998.So yes, this comic is 'restored', but it's been beautifully done and would be a very nice addition to any collection.The 'Certificate of Conservation' showing all notes etc. will be included with your purchase.
