This auction is for a Silver Age comic from 1956 featuring ACTION COMICS #219. Published by National Periodical Publications aka DC Comics. This is a complete coverless issue in Fair/Good condition. All pages are secure and the first page has a small piece out of the bottom edge. There is a tear in the middle of the spine and at two staples that permeates the entire issue, but does not affect any story. The interior paper quality is surprisingly very good with a nice supple feel. The neat SUPERMAN lead story is by Wayne Boring plus Tommy Tomorrow and Congo Bill. A copy of the front cover will be provided to the winning bidder, just to impress their fellow collectors of this vintage treasure.
