Up for your consideration is a rare DC Comics Superman door poster from 1971. It measures 6' x 2' and features the man of steel in flight flashing a peace sign. The colors and graphics are crisp and bright. Unlike other similar posters available, this piece was mounted on foam core to keep it stable and flat. There are some edge tears and creases along the edges. There is a slight crease across his abdomen and there are 2 holes where it was hung from the top edge. There is also a slight discoloration at the top where someone had affixed a small price tag. It is in what I would consider good condition for its age and considering it is paper that would have hung in a boys bedroom. This poster was available through mail order only, I believe.
