A key issue and an iconic comic book by any means, Iron Man's first explosive appearance by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby, and pencils by Steve Ditko. One of the most sought after comic books around. Decent copies of are out of the price range of the average collector, that's why it was reprinted it in 1994. THIS IS NOT A REPRINT!

Of course on a book like this, you're most concerned about condition. Let me tell you that I'm no professional comic book grader, so my opinion on a grade is just that, an opinion. Take it for what it's  worth. A picture is worth a thousand words anyway, so I've provided seven of them, which is a whole lot more than the words on this book I have to offer.

Pointing out the defects, some are obvious, some not so much. The crimping  at the top of the front and back covers will likely be the first thing you notice. There is also a very small closed tear front and rear. Very slight cover soiling. Spine wear, stress creases but staples are good. Interior pretty much as you see it, although my scanner does have a tendency to darken off-white a bit. Very tiny (closed) tear at the bottom of a few pages, but at this point it's not very consequential; you've already made your mind up about the grade. If this were an average comic I'd just give it a VG and be done with it. I've seen lower CGC grade copies (2.5 - 3.0) of this book going for $2000 - $2500. Well, obviously this isn't CGC graded but I think it could even be better than 3.0, but I don't have the time, money or interest to go through an official grading process. I also don't want to wait around 7-10 days for an auction to end. I need $$$$ and I need it NOW!

So immediate payment is required. Also, the standard shipping is USPS First Class, and I will spring for signature confirmation (that's right; you're going to have to be there to sign for it). If you prefer another carrier, priority, express, or overnight shipping, insurance, etc. you're going to have to spring for it, so you will have to contact me PRIOR to hitting that BUY IT NOW button, and let me know what your shipping requests are so I can get back to you with a price.  

FOREIGN BUYERS TAKE NOTE: It would be absurd to ship this First Class to another country. You will have to go priority at the very least. Also, stated customs value will be what you pay for it, so don't ask me to alter the amount. I definitely will not. Foreign shipping is going to be a good deal more expensive, so be prepared. Contact me prior to pressing that BUT IT NOW button, and you won't be disapponted later on. I would strongly recommend express shipping on this book, but it's your option.
