Description

For those who do not want to read it all: These are BOTH 1st prints of Uncanny X-Men #133 AND #95. #95 is a BONUS PURCHASE and is good condition AT BEST. It is considered a reader copy. They both are fully intact.

By reading the defects, and looking at the pictures, if you are still here maybe you are interested. #133 isn’t perfect but it is a solid foundation to any collection with no outstanding defects (the fold in the lower corner being the most obvious), perhaps it sits at VF. Adding #95 was a last minute idea I had to include this book because I was finally able to upgrade my own collection and let my own older copies go. It was always a reader for me, I bought it (at a price I shouldn’t have) and as you can see. I was just recently able to upgrade my own #133, and I want to pass on some savings to someone else. People say I shouldn’t say things like this on EBay, but I am losing money by selling these books at the price I am selling them at. I don’t care. There was a time when I didn’t have enough money to even scratch the surface on what I wanted. So I’m selling my slightly used copies (not dollar box garbage) for a fair price, and hope the right person sees them. Any questions, feel free to ask, I’m just a collector, not a conglomerate and I do this to have fun and make people a little happier.

As a collector, and not to give away any spoilers for those who haven't read them. There is a reason I said that these books are a crux of two of the X-Men's most loved characters. For Thunderbird (the original) he had a short career, but his impact was huge. People still talk about him, and his legacy still carries on through his lineage, he was just flat out awesome. For Wolverine, most people say it was X-Men #141 that brought him to fore. I believe it was this (#133) issue that made us see him for the man he was and is. Not forsaking his teammates, and not giving up no matter what the odds. Claremont gave him his voice in this issue, in my humblest opinion, and really made him the Wolverine we all grew to love.

Now for some stuff I pre-wrote a while ago:

1. Since I am a still considered a novice at EBay, I have decided to contain my business to strictly staying within the borders of the Continental United States only, at least for the foreseeable future. My apologies to our neighbors or any others who wish to do business with me. This is not a permanent process, and as of right now, there are no exceptions. Not to sound callous, but this is temporary.

2. I’m working very hard to figure out the best way for a novice like myself to make it easy for me to calculate the best way to incorporate shipping. I have yet to invest in the proper things and take the steps needed, but so far things are working out fairly well. Bear with me. Also, I am a meticulous person when it comes to packaging. I use the best materials I can get at the time.

3. As a seller (even a buyer) this is a steep learning curve for me. I'm older, even as EBay and PayPal are concerned; I have yet to learn the ins and outs of the processes of the way things are generally done. I will though, I do not quit. So, support me, and in turn, I will undoubtedly support you. Thanks all, from all the way to the top, to the new guys, for all the advice and help. Also, PLEASE, do not forget to return feedback. I haven’t been around for a long time and as a beginner, can use all the help I can. I work very, very hard at this.-Jeff
