This is a low grade, but complete original printing of "Tales of Suspense" #39 (Marvel Comics, 1963), 1st appearance of Tony Stark, IRON MAN! It is within the Good/Good+ range in terms of condition. It has some creases, chipping, and small nicks and tears along the edges of the covers. There is a tear on the lower back cover that is about an inch in length, and another small tear by the picture of shoes in the ad artwork. The front cover has a small amount of writing in pen and a dust shadow along the outer edge. Printing is slightly off-register. There is some light soiling, light browning, and light discoloration in spots on the covers. The staples are secure and all the pages are in solid shape. This is a respectable specimen of a highly sought after key issue of one of Marvel's greatest heroes!
