The Holy Grail of a Mickey Mouse collection. An original Mickey Mouse daily drawn by the maestro of the mouse, Floyd Gottfredson, along with a certification from the Walt Disney Company certifying both the pencils and inking done by Gottfredson. Rest assured that you are getting the real deal from Disney. This piece has been sitting in my collection and has not been taken out of the shipping overwrap as I have not had it displayed since purchasing from the Disney Auction. It measures approximately 6.5 by 21 inches. If I remember correctly, in 1956 most of the earlier daily strips were destroyed in order to meet the fire marshals code so this may be one of the earliest left. Regardless it is cool piece with great art of Pluto and a centerpiece worthy piece of original art.
