Original Daredevil #249 Comic Cover Art (Marvel, 1987) Leonardi and Williamson
Information: Excellent original inked cover art for issue #249 - 1987. The illustration area (not including the 1" margin with signature along the bottom) is 9 1/2" x 15" and the red padding it has been attached to is 18" x 24".
This cover features Daredevil fighting Wolverine. The back of the page has a pen mark of "7-2-87" and the Marvel stamp dated 1988. The bottom of the page is signed by Rick Leonardi in silver ink. Due to the padding I am unable to read the margins and I do not want to remove it as this padding can be used to frame it properly.
Condition: Generally in nice condition. * The bottom section of the "T" in "The Man without Fear" is missing. * Due to the slicing action of Wolverine's claw the letters for "The Man" were very small sections and a small piece of scotch tape was placed over it to hold it in place. It appears that the tape to hold it in place was just slightly short. The glue is starting to come off of the Daredevil section at the top and could use a touch up. Page is attached to a red padding but not framed. Please see pictures for exact condition.
