Description

From the estate of local Seattle schoolteacher who
passed away more than 40 years ago...

We are thrilled to offer this hard-to-find
May 1936 Mickey Mouse magazine, Vol. 1, No. 8.
Magazine measures 8.5" by 11.5".
Total of 34 pages, not including front & back covers.
Published by Hal Horne Inc., of New York City.

Inside of front cover features an ad for Mickey Mouse
Air Circus. The back cover has an ad for Mickey Mouse
"Didja" toothpaste contest. Lots more fun features inside including
"Jest Jingles", "Dippy Daffynitions" & "Jokeography".
I am not a professional grader, but I would say it's in
GOOD condition. All pages are present.
Cover colors are bright & corners are crisp.
Both staples on binding are intact, though a bit rusty.

FLAWS NOTED: There is some wear along the narrow edge of
binding & a 3/4" split (tear) along binding starting at bottom corner.
There is also a 1/4" tear along the top edge of the
back cover, very near the binding, which extends slightly
into top of interior pages.
Someone completed - neatly in pencil - both the "connect-the-dots"
puzzle on page 21 & the crossword on page 25.
And there is some soiling on either side of the fold of the
centerfold cartoon. (2 page spread of "Madam Cluck's Roosterant")
PLEASE SEE PHOTOS for details of all issues.

And email us with any questions.
Thanks for reading this far!
