Huge hardcover coffee table book reprinting choice Mickey Mouse comic strips by Floyd Gottfredson, plus "Riddle of the Red Hat," Carl Barks' only MM comic book story, from Four Color #79. This lavish 17" x 12.75" Gold Plate Edition book was limited to only 100 copies; it includes an original animation-style sketch of Mickey by Carl Barks, inspired by his in-between drawings done for the 1936 cartoon, Thru the Mirror. The art is done in color pencils on paper. An inserted sheet on parchment-style paper was signed by both Gottfredson and Barks, and a picture sleeve 45 interview record is also included.
