Super Rare with Dec. 27th 1930 Christmas Greeting
- Fair Condition.
The Bad: Cover is detached, 3/4 of the spine is split. Chunk missing from front cover, rusty staples.
About this book: This is the extremely rare 2nd print version, as noted in Overstreet, it contains the theater promotion with the Christmas greeting on the inside front cover dated Dec. 27th 1930. Overstreet says only one copy is known to exist. I looked at all the copies I could find online, and sure enough none have the special printed greeting on the inside cover.
The Overstreet Price Guide (in the Platinum Age Section) lists the only know copy to have a value of $8000 in Fine, compare that to the normal 1st print value of $1400.
