Gorgeous Very Fine minus (VF-) copy of Marvel's Fantastic Four issue #1 with Off-White to White pages!  It has a Restored grade with very minor "Apparent" Restoration (Slight 'A').

You’re bidding on a fantastic copy of Fantastic Four #1, one of the most valuable books in Marvel history!  This is THE comic book that started it all!  It began the Marvel superhero universe and made Stan Lee a house hold name for over 50 years.  This is literally the “first issue” of not just the Fantastic Four series, but “Issue #1” of all of Marvel Comics as we know it.

The book itself is a beautiful CGC 7.5 and, in my opinion, should have graded higher.  It is a RESTORED grade but with great color, sharp corners and almost flawless details, the only thing keeping this book from being a $25,000 book is extremely minor: a small amount of glue on the spine and a small amount of color touch on the cover.  The staples were cleaned but I consider that a strong plus, not a minus in its value. In the photos, there isn’t discoloration on the cover or back cover.  It’s the reflection of me taking the picture.

This is one of my favorite and most valuable comics in my collection (and I still have second thoughts about selling it) but, unfortunately, it is time for me to part with it since we're needing some home renovations.  Of course, for the winner, this is the perfect time to buy it since Disney has bought 20th Century Fox and will be incorporating Marvel’s First Family into its cinematic universe.  Undoubtedly, its value will be affected, like all of the other Marvel franchise first issues/first appearances, once Marvel Studios is finally able to do things right and make a great movie with these classic characters.
