TODAYS ITEM FOR AUCTION IS: a wonderful comic book from Walt Disney. This is Vol 1, No. 4 of Mickey Mouse Magazine. Holiday Number. Lots of Christmas items for sale in the book. Mickey Mouse Ideal Airplane, lucky rabbits foot and more. Condition. My eye says VF. You may disagree. I will tell you the highlights and the very few low points. Cover is very flat. Cover front and back still have gloss. Staples are not rusted or discolored. Lower left corner has some very light creasing as if that is where it was held for the few times it was read. There are very few stress marks along the spine edge. Open the book and it is white inside covers and white pages. Printed Dec 1935. Inside cover promotes Mickey Mouse Christmas Tree lights. All pages are present and white. Back cover has two issues. One is lower left corner 1/2" tear. Upper right corner handling crease. Overall in my opinion VF.
I have never had a comic book sent out for grading but I believe I am on the mark. Check my feedback 45,000+ positive. 16 years in business. I also believe that if you are looking for a book that could be upgraded by restoration this might be the one for you. With the minor flaws it could raise the grade significantly. The book is sold as is.
