This long running series is one of the more influential, running for decades and becoming much more unpredictable and less 'comic', with often graphic and shocking content, after Neal Adams came on board with this iconic book.  The dark edges of the cover provide great contrasts and it is a treat to behold when it's unblemished by such pesky detractors as soiling or obvious creases.  Green Lantern & Green Arrow are both household names with all the toys and videogames and statues and animation and action-figures and clothing and the plethora of other licensed merchandise.  Green Lantern was a smash hit star at theaters in recent years, and he'll be starring in more films including other heroes (J.L.A.) and Arrow has his own hit TV series, bringing the the love of these iconic heroes to still another generation of fans around the world...  It doesn't get much more "Blue Chip" than this!

ALWAYS POPULAR, BUT INCREASINGLY RARE, UNRESTORED HIGH-GRADE SPECIMENS OF THIS OLD 15-CENTER ARE ONLY GETTING HOTTER!

This historic comic is a real find in unrestored VF+ or better shape, as some copies had production flaws such as printing creases or scuffs or distributor ink, and most examples were read and re-read, time and time again, and with the glossy dark-edged cover even the tiniest flaws seem magnified.  However, this copy is spectacular, as it's lustrous and clean and there is no distracting major wear or obvious aging, and it has precise printing registration.  And many copies we've sold were not aligned correctly and/or had poor centering, while this gem is a standout in those departments.  And the gloss is excellent, too!  This crushes many of the "Near Mint" old comics I purchased over the decades back in the pre-CGC era.  Good luck finding this level of eye appeal again in the future, as this beauty boasts deep rich uniform colors and a flat clean appearance, devoid of common problems such as print-creases and and chips, and the deep gloss is a bonus.  In the scans, there are reflections and glare, which is not evident when viewing the actual book in person.

 A lot has happened with Green Lantern in the 45 years since this epic came out, adding more allure to the fabled issues such as this;  so I don't suggest waiting around until these crucial books have gone through the roof....  High-grade specimens of this hot issue are always in demand, but are not always available in the market, in such well-preserved condition with incredible luster and deep colors like this!

Great cover colors; And the gloss is phenomenal, which must be seen in person to be appreciated.  If you are a discriminating GL or Arrow collector, serious CGC-graded comics investor, or just a devout silver-age or bronze-age collector and prefer unrestored books without significant flaws, then NOW is your brief window of opportunity.  It looks less appealing in the disappointing picture, with lots of glare and lines from our scanner,  ~but in person the book looks spectacular and the super bright colors really leap out at you!
