George Perez and Terry Austin Avengers #168 Cover Original Art (Marvel, 1978). The Avengers is a title that has had many, many high-points and peak periods. However "The Korvac Saga" is usually ranked only second to the "Kree/Skrull War" on most people's list of "Most Epic Avengers Tales Ever"! It ran from issue #167-177, making "First Blood" only the second chapter in the saga. This is a near full-team cover featuring Iron Man, the Beast, Scarlet Witch, Thor, Wonder Man, and the Vision. Another reason this cover is special? That is Henry Peter Gyrich sitting in the chair. Mr. Gyrich is their new governmental watchdog and becomes a bigger challenge for them than most of their villains. This cover is produced in ink and Zipatone over graphite on Bristol board with an image area of 9.75" x 15". It is lightly tanned. All logo, corner box art, and text are stat paste-ups. There is a bit of glue residue the text paste-ups. With a bit of handling wear and production oil in the margins, it i s otherwise, in Very Good condition.

payments via eCheck, personal or corporate checks. All others will be subject to a hold of 5

Shipping:
