This beautiful CGC graded comic originated from the collection of a hobbyist who was very picky in the choices for his portfolio comprised of over 3000 CGC and PGX graded books, a firm believer of the saying, "Buy the book, not the label".

The majority of his collection are excellent resubmission candidates for higher grades, the overall condition of the comics appearing superior to the label grades and more indicative of their higher graded CGC counterparts! It's the original 1961 Marvel issue, not the 1966 Golden Recored, or other reprint. It has a CGC witnessed Stan Lee signature. Restoration is "small amount of color touch on cover (slight, professional), top edge trimmed". It's an exceptionally beautiful 4.0. Aside from creasing contained to the left of the Thing's word balloon, the book exhibits 9.0 or better quality! In fact, I haven't seen an FF #1 graded less than 6.5 that presents like this ultra-harshly graded 4.0 . The slab is in excellent condition.
