You are bidding on a wonderful and very exceptional Estate Sale find-and the only one I have to sell, so don't miss out. Up for auction is a full page of a total of 13 cells to complete a Disney 1943 Mickey Mouse Comic book page. The lay out art pencil and ink drawings are of Mickey and his his Western friends. The drawings are original, on card stock and not reproduced, and were used as part of the comic book production process dated 1943. Each of the drawings show pencils marks, blue production pencil and black ink markings in each cell. The art work was produced on other card stock paper and then cut & glued onto the main cardstock, with scenes being completed on each cell. This item and others to follow in the coming days are from the estate of Disney animator John Basmajian. The piece measures approx 15"X 24" and shows slight storage scuff marks, white out and adhesive marks in some of the cells. There is no moisture damage.
