You are bidding on a wonderful and very exceptional Estate Sale find, a total of 9 cells to complete two Disney 1943 Original Comic Strips. The Art Lay Out Ink Drawings are of Donald Duck that are each titled "Modern Design" and "A Car on a Time Plan." The drawings are original, on card stock and not reproduced, and were used as part of the comic strip production process dated 2-5-1943 & 9-14-43. Each of the drawings show pencils marks, blue production pencil and black ink markings in each cell. The art work was produced on other card stock paper and then cut & glued onto the main cardstock, with scenes being completed on each cell. This item and others to follow in the coming days are from the estate of Disney animator John Basmajian. The piece measures approx 15" X 24" and shows a slight storage scuff marks, and adhesive markings in some of the cells. There is no moisture damage.
