This early Batman appearance features a classic Bob Kane cover and art, the origin and first appearance of Dr. Hugo Strange, which Overstreet deemed Batman's first major villain, and the very first appearance of Batman’s finned gloves. Only a few copies of this issue ever see the light of day, and routinely go for multiples of guide—an 8.0 went this year for more than $50K. NO RESERVE!
