Description

One Of A Kind !!!!!!!!!!

I have been collecting comic books (I prefer to call it sequential art--- sounds less geeky!!!) for over 45 years. I am now at the stage in my life when I feel the need to downsize my vast collection. Deciding which pieces to let go has not been easy.

This page is one of the many items that my wife has given me over the years. She agrees that we have to let someone else enjoy it.

The actual production page measures 10 1/2" x 16" and features Captain America, Ms. Marvel, and The Beast. The page shows NO fading or yellowing because it has been kept in my darkened den with the majority of my "stuff" as my wife calls it. I manipulated the contrast on the corner shots toward the yellowish hue so you could see the blue pencil notes. As you can see in the photo of the upper right corner, there must have been an editorial change to the story because this page had been scheduled to be page 6 rather than page 10.  The markings on the backing of the framed print show that it is archivally mounted and preserved. The frame is 14"x 20" and is made of sleek brushed metal.

Here is the information for this issue from the MarvelWiki. As you can see, this page is the work of Bill Mantle, John Byrne, Dan Green and/or Frank Springer, and  Gaspar Saladino.
