Most of the original hand painted Superman Max Fleischer Animation cel art used in the making of the original cartoon was destroyed back in WWII and recycled and painted over so only 3 different original ones exists that I'm aware of that show Superman from the front where you can see his S chest The S Chest Emblem and face and body clearly displayed of Superman, I have two of these cels and I believe Warner Bros./DC Comics may have the 3rd.

SUPERMAN BACKGROUND: There is a rich history behind this art, so much went in to the production process, from inker's tests to roto-scoping where they would film actors and then draw over the film to get the proper motion for animation. Additionally, CGC only grades comic books and not animation cels as far as I'm aware of, so there is no confusion, I am Not selling a full comic book as mentioned, only what I listed above. The gallery that I purchased this cel from included a COA (Certificate Of Authenticity) so they take 100% responsibility for the authenticity of the items I am selling hence the COA so rest assured. I am not an expert but they are. So don't worry, as I do not take any responsibility for the authenticity of these animation cels, which is why it's great to have the COA from the Galleries who have taken that responsibility professionally since they are the experts, so you have the COA documentation directly from the source included with your win. When I got this 1941 cel of Superman standing alone years and years ago, I had so many questions so I spoke to animation experts to ask about the cel back then and they told me that this cel has the original hole-punches in the top of the cel proving its a Max Fleischer original and that it was common for some of the ink-lines to "drop off" from cels as old as this like on the bicep which explained a lot to me as well as that often times paint would be hanging off the back from old cels but the gallery had the original matching paints and ink pens to repair issues if an owner ever has a cel begin to deteriorate over time should they wish to get it repaired at least they have that option, so I am grateful that these cels are in such great shape considering they are about 73 years old. The cels are exactly as I received them when I won the auction for this Superman standing alone so many years ago and I felt so happy when these Superman animation cel experts answered my questions informing me that in fact this is some of the rarest animation art of this Superman Cel standing alone original hand painted cel from 1941 by Max Fleischer studios, as seen on the TV shows they appeared on and as the gallery owners confirmed with their COA as mentioned so bid and enjoy. I have since gotten them framed as a bonus for you. As mentioned, it breaks my heart to part with them but I must help my parents with their surgeries, I pray they will make it through.
